Rightfully so, he's been pretty red hot lately.

Now if only the rest of the guys could follow in his footsteps, we'd be feeling real good about the Sox right now.

Congrats Jermaine.

I just that would've translated into at least one victory this weekend.

You could tell JD wanted to win out there. He and TCQ should be considerations for the All Star Game.

Congrats, JD!

Wish we still had this guy...

Yeah, lots of people would be happy with those power totals and RBI's for a month of production. He was on fire...

Probably the most under rated/under appreciated player on the White Sox.

Over his time w/the White Sox (2005-2007, not including this season), here's how he stacks up vs. other AL regular/starting outfielders:

Home Runs: #1 (#2 is Manny Ramirez)
RBIs: #4 (ahead of V. Wells, behind Ordonez)
Slugging: #3 (between Guerrero and Ordonez)
OPS: #4 (between Ordonez and Sizemore)

Not only does he have great offensive production I think he is also under rated as an outfielder. On top of that he's an excellent team player... which is why JD has been one of my favorites along with MB for a long time.

JD's had a consistent, solid year. Congrats to him.

If Konerko can pick up the slack, then we'll be good.

Spending the best years of his career here. Thanks JD! I remember hearing on the radio when you were signed. If only I would have known how it all would unfold.

I only own one Sox jersey... Jermaine Dye's. Anyone who will take less money to sign with the Sox because he believed they could contend for the WS when history up to that point suggested otherwise becomes my favorite Sox player.

Dye has been quietly good on the southside. Anytime he makes a mistake (like most players do) people on this board jump all over him and want him out of town. I on the other hand am glad he's still here.

:gulp:Keep it going JD!
