Yikes. He got called up by Baltimore just in time to serve up some taters at Wrigley.

And apparently they made Cintron their starting shortstop now too.

You think he'll take MacDougal off our hands?

McPhail-Include Juan Uribe and you've got yourself a deal.

"Cubs fans, we have the greatest ballpark in the world, the best fans...oh...and Ryan Buckvich is coming in to face Aarmis Ramirez with the bases loaded and nobody out with the Cubs leading 10-0 here in the third. Here's the pitch... DRIVEN DEEP TO LEFT!!!!!!! OUTTA HERE!!!!! IN THE BASKET!!!! GRAND SLAM!!!! CUBS LEAD 14-0!!! I tell ya, Bob...it's gonna happen. Look all these fans standing for the slam. Man, I tell you. It doesn't get any better than this.

Perhaps he'll be around for the "make up" game, next time our Sox are in Baltimore, handing over some easy wins in the process???

I don't believe he's eligible to appear in the suspended game. Only the players who were on the roster when the game was suspended can appear.

This isn't true. The only reason someone is not eligible is if he has already been replaced in the game.

You're right.

"A player who was not with the club when the game was suspended may be used as a substitute, even if he has taken the place of a player no longer with the club who would not have been eligible because he had been removed from the lineup before the game was suspended."

Bukvich, I think I miss him even less than I miss MacDougal or Sisco. I'd love it if McPhail would take Ross Gload off our hands...

You don't like Ross Gload?????? With the talk around here, you'd think the Sox traded a Hall of Famer for Sisco 2 years ago.

WSCR interviewer (Rongey mabye?): "I'm with new Sox pitcher, Ryan Bukvich. Ryan for those fans that don' know much about you, what type of pitcher are you?"

Bukvich: "Uh. Right handed."

That's who it was. That quote was a part of B&B's hilarious Friday intro, and I laugh every time I hear it.

Ross Gload is garbage. Never have a I seen a guy hit so many weak grounders to the right side. Hopefully DM will pull his head out of his ass soon and get Butler back up, and trade Gload for a bag of peanuts. We did you guys a favor.

Ross Gload was a solid bench player. Maybe that doesn't translate well to playing every day.

But talk about favors? Good God, just the name MacDougal strikes fear in every Sox fan's heart and deep into their core.

And Edmonds greets Bukvich with a HR. Just like old times in 2007.
