The radar does not look good at all especially up in Wisconsin where everything is coming from. It could be a long night or we could be playing tomorrow.

Keep us out of towners updated. I will be pissed I haven't been able to catch one of these games yet, and definately won't be able to watch tomorrow.

I doubt we play tomorrow. Having to be in LA on Tuesday would make that tough. Maybe a split DH next weekend? Imagine that chaos?

Very true. How about next Sunday just start a game at Wrigley at 12:00. Then the night cap at the Cell. That would be outrageous!

Yankees and Mets have done the exact same thing at least twice.

They'll get the game in.. there shouldn't be any delays either. Only a 30% chance of showers.

It's the ESPN game. Two first-place teams. There will be lots of pressure to get it in.

But if it doesn't get played, I agree with some of the others here that a split doubleheader is preferable to playing tomorrow before a flight to the West Coast.

Radar is more ominous then "30% chance." The fact it's raining in Wrigleyville now isn't good either.

There's been thunder, no rain, at my house in the last 5 minutes. I live 1/2 mile north and about 3 miles west of The Urinal (upwind).

....raining now.

Nice little downpour a mile or so due south of the Urinal.

Well the radar looks to be okay. Stuff looks to be somewhat dissipating when it gets towards Chicago. We may have to sit through a rain delay, but I am 90% positive we get this game in tonight.

I believe one of the Yankees-Mets games this year was rained out, and they'll have to do this again this year.

Problem with that is ESPN holds the rights to Sunday Night games. I don't see them kicking off whomever is already scheduled, nor do I see the a Sox-Cubs game that wouldn't be televised.

They'll get it in tonight. Score early.

I can't even bare to watch the game tonight. I hope this one gets canceled forever and they just finish with 161 games.

I remember it at least once...seeing the police escort of the team busses between the two parks. It was quite the spectacle.

I think they'll get it in, but if not, tomorrow or Sunday seem like the two best choices.

The Sox and Cubs are already scheduled for next Sunday night as well so the only schedule change would be playing the additional game early on in the day.

Didn't know next sunday was a night game, too. Thanks!
