View Full Version : Myette gets 1st win for Texas

Someone may have already posted this, but I didn't see anything.

Aaron Myette, the former White Sox P that we traded in the Royce deal, got his 1st MLB win not as a member of the Sox in a 12-2 win in Yankee stadium. He pitched 5 1/3 innings, giving up 2er with 4k, 3bb, and 2 hits. Not too bad for a guy with an era over 8(lol). I guess KW didn't make a bad deal for Royce at all. Royce after 2 brutal months has been one of our hottest hitters and has his ba up to 238. While Myette has been brutal for Texas. I wonder if all of the other KW turn out(with the exception of the Boomer deal). I know that's not likely, but who would've thought that Royce would be batting 238 on August 2nd when he was .099 on May 20? I'm not saying that KW has been great, to say the least, but at least Royce is doing okay.

Myette has been up and down from the minor leagues with the Rangers. Good for him that he got the win but he is pitching for one of the worst pitching staffs in the league.
