Well, the White Sox arch nemesis won't be playing in this up and coming series. They called up some kid named Macri to take his place.

I know both Mark Buehrle and Ozzie are happy that one of the prime piranhas won't be available this weekend.

As much as Punto?

I swear Punto pads his stats against us.

Definitely. The Twins must have some sort of "Crappy middle infielder who will destroy the White Sox" machine in their possession somewhere.

He's a career .266 hitter against the Sox with 2 homers and 19 RBIs in 188 ABs. I don't think it's how he gets his hits, it's when he gets his hits that really make it seem that he's a Sox killer.

Don't tell me what you hit, tell me when you hit it, etc.

It's built by the same company that built the reversible fans installed in the outfield of the Hump Dome, that change directions of airflow late in games depending on the game situation and who is batting.

That wouldn't surprise me. I'm pretty certain the organizational mission statement of the Minnesota Twins includes a clause about destroying the White Sox.

Well now we just need to get Jason Kubel out of there and we'll be fine.

.266 is good for Punto. He sucks.

The way the wind is blowing and with the heat...the ball will be flying this weekend. Twins hit the crap out of the ball...our hitters better be ready to put 7+ runs on the board to win.

I swear, whenever he hits something, it's usually a grand slam.

It's really windy today, and with a guy like Blackburn on the mound for the Twins (who throws sinkers), that's to our disadvantage. Javy is a power pitcher, which doesn't bode real well either.

If Javy strikes a lot of hitters out, it won't be a problem.

Let's hope the Twins are swing happy. Thing is though, the Twins have the least amount of homers in the AL. Or somewhere close to last.

I think the Twins are second last in the league in HRs. The Sox are second in the league in homers. The conditions will favor a power team like the Sox.

The Twins lost due to the loss of a pirahna! Hurray! Their magical Sox stopping machine up the middle failed because well, we didn't go up the middle that often. :D:
