Sure, Quentin has better numbers than Ramirez, but did he high-five a fan while making a catch in the OF?

I guess I can buy that printed ballots need to be printed ahead of the year and mlb has to take a "best guess" as to who will be the starterrs, but what I don't get is why they can't change the online ballot to accurately relect the change. I mean come on, that should take a couple hours tops.

THE greatest play in MLB history. Have fun, show some entertainment value, and still make the DP. Crazy display of talent.

I've already voted for Quentin 85 times. I have nothing better to do.

Best part of that whole article: the headline!

"Votebook: Quentin leads list of write-ins Many deserving players not found on this year's All-Star ballot"

Well jeez, who do you think MAKES the ballot? THE SAME PEOPLE WHO WROTE THIS STORY!!! Sounds almost like "You write tomorrow's Cubune headline..."

The managers.

So does that explain why Jerry Owens and Juan Uribe are on the ballot? I don't think so...

The teams submit their projected lineups to MLB in spring training for AS ballot purposes. Really, this has been discussed ad nauseam.
