Is Soria hurt or something? Just think they would bring in their closer with a 9 game losing streak and the tying run at bat.

And now the ******* Twins just won. Thanks for nothing, KC.

The Royals are worthless and everyone knows it. We were asking too much in asking them to win even one game this series. Both the Twins and the Cubs snatch victory from the jaws of defeat tonight. Bleah.

They had their high point already for the first month of the season. Hopefully they'll struggle when they're here next week as well. It would be great to load up on more wins here.

Seems like we've seen this song and dance by the Twins countless times before in the Metrodome haven't we?

But, alas, we've also shoved it right back in their face here at home!

I was at the game last year where both teams scored 6 runs in the final frame; but, we won it in extras. What a great game to be at! And I stayed for the entire affair. :D:

They played a 12 inning game last night, and Soria pitched 2 full innings (~37 pitches). They don't want to burn out their freshly signed closer.

Turns out Gardy's brilliant strategy of not using his Closer except in Save situations, worked out for the Twins. Since Nathan only pitched 2/3 inning in last nights game (~7 pitches) he was still fresh.

This game was played in Kansas City.

It was the 10th loss in a row for the Royals.

The front page on mlb.com has the mets and the "the team who shall remain nameless" comebacks, but no mention of the twins more incredible comeback. Then they wonder why they are not as popular as the nfl. Market all your teams!

Unreal. I went to bed in the bottom of the 8th and thought this one was wrapped up.

Don't worry, Royals, Hose is just projecting his frustration at a once promising career ending him up in KC onto you

Agree. Royals suck and are always going to.

Both of those teams should remain nameless.

I'm in class now with a guy who went to the game last night. He said there were about 13,000 fans there, and it sounded like a ghost town.

Soria pitched a couple of innings the night before so he was unavailable.

I realize that. My point and I worded it badly, was that we've seen the Twins with these miraculous finishes before. Usually it's because of a goofy bounce or something in the Dome.

10 game losing streak and an unavailable closer? Funny combo there.

Thanks, guess I could have looked that up. Ugh, hate the Twins.

How many games behind are the Cubs in the AL Central?
