Comotion in the 1st

Anyone know what the commontion was in the 1st inning (besides the 10 runs). Lofton came in and talked to the umps, then the umps talked to the security in left field.

Anyone know?

When then home plate ump came back he said something to Mark Johnson and Mark just looked out to Left Field and he had this look of like, What a moron or something on his face.

I heard that someone threw a broom handle on the field, but I don't know if that is what it was.
