Recalled (http://seattle.mariners.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20080520&content_id=2734179&vkey=news_sea&fext=.jsp&c_id=sea) by Seattle after hitting .349 in Tacoma.

A couple weeks before his 27th birthday, this may be his last chance to live up to the hype that made him the Sox' top prospect before he was traded in '04. Or does he just project to be a back-up outfielder now?

And after checking, Jimmy Reed is still dead.

Jeremy just couldn't handle the pressure of bright lights, big city.

If he can stay healthy he'll at least be a good 4th OF. He has an eye, makes contact, and can play some great D, so he'll be valuable in some capacity.

Jeremy just wanted to wait until Freddy Garcia was no longer in the spotlight...

Who then in turn got us Gavin Floyd. When Jeremy Reed comes to Chicago he should get a standing ovation.

I expect the hall to waive the waiting period for Jeremy.

That would've been a hell of a play had he been able to keep his glove on.

Anderson would've had it.

What would happen if Jeremy Reed ever faced Fautino De Los Santos?

Now that's funny. He gets facialized by the yellow strip and loses his glove but hey, he touched the baseball...

It would be like a solar eclipse for anyone that watched it, except that instead of going blind, your head would explode.

What would happen if Jeremy Reed ever faced Fautino De Los Santos? It would basically be mutual annihilation, your average matter/anti-matter reaction. The mass of both of their bodies would create an explosion on the order of hundreds to thousands of megatons. I'll leave it to the physics guys to convert that much matter into pure energy.

By just looking at the numbers, can they quantify it for with a complex formula, and then tell me the formula is superior to an actual observation?
