Mark Salas-bullpen catcher, Gabe Morell-visitor clubhouse manager.

Since this team sucks and we need to get rid of everyone and rebuild, we need someway to put the blame on these guys as well.

Maybe Gabe makes the visiting clubhouse too comfortable for opposing teams. As for Mark maybe he messes up the strike zone for Sox pitchers.

There's probably a guy who works for one of the vendors that sucks and he needs to go too.

Of all the ridiculous arguments! A statistical analysis of the Churros Vendor's 2008 numbers clearly reveals that his declining cspi number (churros sales per inning) average in 2008 (68.5) vis-a-vis his 2007 cspi (76.8) are the result of ancilliary factors beyond his control.

Let's examine this more closely. Throughout the 2007 season the Churros Vendor was placed in-between the Kosher Zion hot dog and Polish stand and the Nachos guy. By contrast, this year, he's been saddled with the Lemon Chill chick to his right and the Ice Cream Dots cart on his left. Not only has the Churros Vendor been situated in a lower-sales volume setting, but he is also in the middle of a lineup typified by a one-tool profile limited to appealing to fans' sweet tooth. In short--there's no surprise at all that his numbers would go down. In fact, given the situation, an argument could be made that the Churros Vendor's cspi for 2008 actually respresents a greater story of individual clutch success than his performance in 2007.

No, my friend, there's plenty of blame to spread around for the Sox' .500-ish season thus far, but don't go blaming the Churros Vendor....

this thread is satire at its finest!

unnecessary teal, unsubtle parody, churro jokes-- the only thing it's missing is a picture of farmer saying things that farmer may or may not say
