I know that's a typo but I think we miss Saunders. I think it's Weaver, Lackey, Garland after tonight.

That's what MLB gets for hiring interns.

They're not interns. MLB employs women in Singapore to enter in all the data. Here they are running the gameday feature. It is a thankless job and they make .22 an hour.

http://www.newint.org/features/2007/04/01/20_sweatshop.jpgMLB was paying us $150 per game and went mostly to interns on the cheap. They make ya work, too. Ya start with a 1,000-word notebook that has to be in by the fourth inning...You have to have the batting orders in 90 minutes prior to the game (easy). Next 3 games pitchers with all kinds of stats (pretty easy). The second the game ends, you have to have a game story of about 250 words in to them...Then you get quotes and write about a 1,000-word game story...Then you write a preview of the next game when you're finished. You leave with the mop-up guys who you know on a first-name basis.

So the sweatshop reference was a little closer than I thought.

Less than one quarter of one cent per hour... Those Nike jobs are paying top dollar!

Anyways, I don't think anyone really reads MLB.com for much of its content... You have to use it for video highlights (since the MLB are video Nazis) and ticket purchasing, but there are way better sources for information, statistics, and commentary.

I don't doubt that.

I thought Lackey was still on the DL? Or I could just be wrong.

Lackey is coming off the DL Wednesday.

Monday: Buehrle-Adenhart
Tuesday: Danks-Weaver
Wednesday: Contreras-Lackey
Thursday: Vazquez-Garland

Adenhart will be sent down after tonight's start.

Santana pitched Sunday. We miss him. Oh darn. He's been pretty hot this year. 6-0 so far.
