I've heard that there's a coupon book/ voucher package being sold for games this year. It sounds very similar to what was offered back in 2003-2005. Anyone seen these?

Only thing that sounds like this is the Family Pack or the T-Shirt pack, where you get either upper deck tickets, hot dogs and sodas for I think $25 or upper deck ticket and a t-shirt at the t-shirt shop for $35.

the family packs are $14 and include ticket/food
tshirts are $25 for shirt/food/ticket

I think a company called granton sold ticket packages in 2003/2004.

I bought one today.

$35 at Sam's Club. Comes with 2 $1.00 Upper Deck game vouchers, 6 Buy One, Get One tickets, and a 10% apparel purchase at the Majestic custom t-shirt shop.

It comes with a schedule of what games are valid too, which are most Tuesday-Friday games excluding Premier games. I plan on using one for me and my girlfriend on Friday for the Angels.

I have seen them and they were the same ones offered in '03 and '04. I talked to the rep selling them and they said that since the Sox won in '05 they hadn't sold the coupon books (due to the increase in attendance there was no need). With the drop off in ticket sales they were asked to do the coupon books again. They are also selling them at Sam's Club as another poster mentioned. No worries they are legit and it isn't that bad of a deal honestly.

I've never used these before. Do they add the ticketmaster charges or is it really just $1 per ticket?

EDIT: Here's the link for the voucher package being sold online and at Sam's Club. It's 39.99 on the site, but 35.76 at Sam's

EDIT 2: I called the Sox, and no convenience fees on vouchers. Sweeeeet. More money for drinks :)

I haven't seen the booklet for this year, but in 2005 you could either select the game(s) that you wanted to buy and mail your request or take the booklet to the box office and buy the tickets in person. I don't think ticketmaster (or its fees) are involved at all.
