I was just wondering how long you think he's going to be in a White Sox uniform. I'm looking into buying his jersey later on in the season. Don't know if I should or not. Opinions?

You dont know how long ANY player is going to be in a Sox uni, unless he is a 10 and 5 guy - And even then they can leave if they choose.

So yes, buy the jersey.

Not to mention he is playing WAY above his salary and KW loves that.

I expect Quentin to be a fixture in the White Sox organization for years to come.

Invest in an Alexie Ramirez jersey. He may be the next SS for the White Sox (it's his best natural position).

As for TCQ - why not?

TCQ has another year before he's arbitration eligible right? And so that would mean he's in Sox control for another few seasons at least.

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong I'm sure.

I don't see Quentin going anywhere for a long time. He's just this organization's type of player, which is why KW coveted him so much. As long as he's healthy I'd bet he's our next RF fixture (once Dye is done).

I would shy away from McDougal as well as Vasquez.

On another note, I would also shy away from a MacDougal jersey. Sorry, it would have been done eventually.

I think that his jersey would be a pretty good choice personally.....

Wow, I never would have expected a question to come up for a guy that's been playing with the team for only a month.
Then again, I'm sure all of us were asking that about Jose Paniagua too, and that was only one day.

Why would Quentin not be around for a long time? He's got a .400 obp and is hitting the crap out of the ball. What do we think - we'l end him down to make room for Jerry Owens/

I know its early but I think Quentin is the real deal, this could turn out to be one of the best trades in Sox history.

TCQ I believe will be around for awhile-you can just see he wants to play and play well.

I am proud of the fact I refrained from mentioning how HOT he was...oops:D:

It's hard to believe that less than a month ago some people were advocating starting Owens over Quentin. :o:

Quentin sure looks like the real deal. He needs to move up the lineup so he has a better opportunity to drive in even more runs. I'd like to see him batting 5th when Dye is out. He may offer more protection for Konerko than Dye.

Does anyone know TCQ's contract situation? Is he arb eligible yet(next year)? Or is he still under sox control for a few years?
