odd links on MLB.com

[Fenway]

As I sit in the truck watching Tampa leading Boston yet again we just noticed something on the mlb.com page that is 'interesting'

At the bottom of the page they have links to 'affilates'

and they list

Affiliates
• Minor League Baseball
• USA Baseball
• Baseball Hall of Fame
• SportsNet New York
• YES Network
• icenetwork.com
• mlsnet.com
• wcsn.com

Question is why would they list the Yankees and Mets channels but no other team?

YES is Yankees SNNY is the Mets

Unless it's like the many fan sites out there, where affiliation consists of "you link me, and I'll link you."

I find the MLS link to be really strange

MLS has a similar website and I wouldn't be surprised if their online game package is similar to MLB.tv (software wise).

And if you go to those 2 NY sites, you'll see "powered by MLB.com" at the bottom, most likely about website design
