Sox On WGN Record

A few days ago there was a thread/ question someplece about the Sox record in Saturday night games on WGN.

As Styx sang many years ago I guess I had "to much time on my hands..." because I did some checking through my yearly schedules and found some numbers.

I don't have the specific breakdown by day but here's what I found by season.

These are the Sox / WGN telecasts:

2004: 18-12
2005: 18-11
2006: 18-11
2007: 9-20

Cool, thanks for gathering that data. I had been curious about our record on WGN compared to non-WGN games for a few years. Here are the winning percentages on WGN vs. overall winning percentage for each season:

WGN / overall:
2004: 60% / 51%
2005: 62% / 61%
2006: 62% / 56%
2007: 31% / 44%

We only played worse on WGN one of the last four years. There goes my assumption that we play worse than usual on WGN. I guess I should start looking forward to those games more.
