Silver Linings ...

Okay, it was a truly miserable weekend, but in hopes of picking up everyone's spirits, I note a few bright spots:

(1) We're still in 1st place.

(2) I thought Rauch looked pretty good on Friday night.

(3) At least we got whooped by a good team, and didn't get swept by the Tigers (the Tigers!), like the 2nd place team in our Division.

or get one-hit like those north siders (although we got awfully close yesterday).

I'm not too concerned. Every team has a series like that during the course of the season...some have many. Hopefully that was the one for the year. At least it was out in Oakland and not at home or to a division- or city- rival. Besides, Oakland was due after their disappointing series vs. the Yankees.
One day off and back to winning.
