Was he taken off on a stretcher with a groin pull?

Lol, no. They have the highlight on BBTN, pretty funny.

That's one thing I don't miss from Pods is his defense. Did he actually make the catch or did he drop it?

Just another example of why baseball is the best sport.

He made the catch. He made like a jumping catch and as he came down his glove went right into the scoreboard.

Speaking of Pods, just noticed we play the Rockies in June. If he's on the team still and starts, will he get a standing O? I think he should.

I think a nice clap would be in order. Standing? Nah.

For what he did in 2005, I think he deserves the the standing O. That's just me though.

Standing O will be just fine.

If I'm at one of those games, I'll definitely do my fair share of clapping.

Carlos getting stuck on the scoreboard in Fenway will go down as one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Later in the game, he was waiting in a fly ball holding his glove out and it just flew 3 inches to the left as he stood there looking at it. He still plays a gawky left field.

Ended up with 11 runs. Another entertaining game. Holliday, Helton, Hawpe and Yorvit sat this one out but were picked up just fine.

Oh, and the Scottie glove stick was pretty hilarious. I think he looked good out there tonight both on the bases and in the outfield.

Meanwhile, for the other team involved in that 22-inning game, Maddux gave up 6 runs in the first inning but had to take one for the team because the Padres couldn't afford to tax their bullpen again. He ended up pitching 7 innings, giving up a career high 9 runs.
