I realize Bell was signed because of injuries to both Sisco and Egbert, both whom would have made the rotation, but how much longer do they plan on using him? Every time he pitches, it seems like he can't get out of the 2nd and gives up 5+ runs. Egbert is also off the D.L., except he got sent to Double-A.

I think that Egbert was sent to AA as a rehab assignment. Harrell came in relief, and he's definitely part of the B'ham rotation, so I think Egbert will be moved up to Charlotte for his next start.

I would hope. Not that it really matter whether or not the Knights win, I just found it odd that they would continue to trot Bell out there every 5th day when he has no buisness being on a pitchers mound. I didn't think about the possibility of Egbert being on a rehab stint in Birmingham.
