WSI News Index - Totally Biased Game Recaps
August 17...Welcome to Last Place
Jose Contreras once again proves that it's time to hang it up in falling behind early. Danny Richar provided us with the lone bright point in a 5-4 defeat at Safeco Field in Seattle.
August 15... 119 down, 43 to go!
Another abysmal Sox loss brings fans to wonder, why care anymore?
Aug. 12...Another Beautiful Sunday Shot to Hell!
Watching this team play is probably not as painful as having all your wisdom team pulled without any anesthetic. Or having someone hit you in the face with a cast-iron skillet. Note: I said "probably not."
August 11... So Close, Yet So Far
After being down by five for a good portion of the night, the Sox made a game of it in the ninth, but fell just short.
August 10...Javvy Nice Evening!
Javier Vazquez holds down the pretty stellar Seattle offense in a nice 5-3 Sox victory in front of a packed Comiskey Park.
August 8... Wild Win!
Back and fourth they went, but then, Sox come through with the win!
August 5...Sweep 'Em Up Before We Go-Go!
Ta-ta, Tata! Thanks for dropping by!
August 4... Vazquez & Co. Tame the Tigers
The offense got off to a quick start in the first, allowing the Sox to never trail in this ballgame.
August 1... Yanks dig the long ball
Danks, Buckvich, and Haeger surrender five home runs to Yankee hitters as they take this one 8-1.
July 29...Yet Another Sunday Sox Loss
I had a really great headline and short take ready-to-go. However, they had to win first. Oh, nuts!
July 28... Buehrle Being Buehrle Results In a White Sox Winner
Proud papa, Mark Buehrle dominates on the mound in what is arguably one of quickest and most well-pitched games of the season on both ends.
July 27...Dyenomite
Jermaine Dye starts our Sox off on the right foot, while Juan Uribe's stick completes the mini-comeback, as our beloved were able to hold off Toronto 4-3 on a humid Friday night.
July 25...Can't Have Too Much Fun...
Apparently, a three game winning streak would be too much to ask for.
July 24...Looking For Love Part II
Go home with a winner tonight!
July 23...Words fail me
Scorecards are still viable in the age of the internet
July 22...Welcome to Last Place (okay, tied for)
July 21... Bullpen-Induced Boston Massacre
Just when you think the bullpen can't possibly find another way to let a game get out of hand, they do. They surrendered not one or two consecutive walks in an inning, but five!
July 20th...Beantown Beat-Down
Contreras lucky to only give up 10 runs as Sox hammered.
July 18... Wednesday Fun
For once, the bullpen doesn't blow the game.
Juillet 17...Woot Woot, L'Enclos Suce
Il Útait une fois nous n'avons pas sucÚ et c'est un fait.
