Palehose come back from six-run deficit in nineth and win it in extras, 11-10!
September 5... Timo comes through...for the Tigers
Gavin Floyd turns in a strong outing, but, Sox lose 2-1 in 11 innings.
September 4...The Day After Labor Day
Happy Happy Joy Joy Slappy Slappy Soy Soy
September 2...Back-To-Back Wins For Contreras???
Our Sox pounded out 18 hits, scoring in 5 different innings, to win their first road game in 4 weeks, blanking Cleveland 8-0.
September 1... A Measley Four Hits Make a Win Impossible
Vazquez's quality start is wasted because his offense was basically inept.
August 31...Score One For Chief Wahoo
Our Sox' bullpen can't even hold the nice 5-2 lead they walked into the 8th inning with in an 8-5 loss at Jacobs Field tonight.
August 29... Sterioids comes through
With tonight's 5-4 loss, our elimination # is 12.
August 28...Sox Lose Down Under
August 27...the game I wasn't able to go to
events, stung together like a chain, keep me at bay
Can't Think of Anything that Wouldn't Get Me Banned
The only good thing I can say about this game is that itís not anyone from Chandlerís fault (even DJ). Maybe we should draft that little league pitcher from Lubbock. Ya think?
August 25... Buehrle Bitten by One Bad Inning, Bullpen Follows With Its Own
Buehrle falls victim to one bad inning, but his bad inning pales in comparison to that of the bullpen's!
August 24...Sox Drop a Duece to Evil Empire Jr.
Jon Garland, John Danks, and Gavin Floyd all do Sox fans *proud* in displaying the *greatness* that is the pitching staff on the south side of Chicago, allowing the Evil Empire Jr. to have a field day during both games of today's double-header.
August 22... Back to last
Only 5 1/2 weeks left...
August 20...Step into the way back machine
If only time stood still
Sundays Seriously Suck
The only good thing I can say about this game is that I didn't actually watch it.
August 18... One Bad Inning By Bullpen Results In Another Loss
A bullpen that had been holding its own for a few weeks, reverted back to the ways of old and coughs up the lead in the sixth.
August 17...Welcome to Last Place
Jose Contreras once again proves that it's time to hang it up in falling behind early. Danny Richar provided us with the lone bright point in a 5-4 defeat at Safeco Field in Seattle.
August 15... 119 down, 43 to go!
Another abysmal Sox loss brings fans to wonder, why care anymore?
Aug. 12...Another Beautiful Sunday Shot to Hell!
Watching this team play is probably not as painful as having all your wisdom team pulled without any anesthetic. Or having someone hit you in the face with a cast-iron skillet. Note: I said "probably not."
August 11... So Close, Yet So Far
After being down by five for a good portion of the night, the Sox made a game of it in the ninth, but fell just short.
