WSI News Index - Totally Biased Game Recaps
June 12... Thanks, Ump!
Phil Humber continued his streak of awesomeness, pitching 6 2/3 innings of solid ball, and the offense provided just enough for the Sox to earn the rare Sunday victory.
June 11... Three Runs Are All He Needed
John Danks gets just enough run support tonight as he holds the A's for a 3-2 victory.
June 10... There Are Two Outs, Can We Get Another, Sir?
Sergio Santos implodes, unable to get a fricken third out, handing the game to Oakland.
June 9...Dressed to the Nines
The Palehose put up a nine-spot on Trevor Cahill and the Oakland A's.
June 8 ... Pierror strikes again
Juan Pierre butchers a routine fly, opening the door for the Mariners to beat the Sox in 10 innings.
June 7... Humber and Homers Stop Seattle
Humber pitches yet another gem as Sox beat Mariners again
June 6... A Well-Deserved Win
Danks outduels Seattle rookie phenom Pineda as Sox take series opener from Mariners, 3-1
June 5... Like a Bad Penny
A grand slam, mental mistakes and a poor offense spell doom for the Sox.
June 4... Cat Scratch Fever
Dunn and Rios can't hit, but the Tigers can, as they beat the Sox 4-2 in Chicago.
June 3... Who Wants to Bunt???
Not Juan Pierre! Pierre owns the 8th inning with a spectacular catch against the fence and then goes deep with a homer into the right field stands. The Sox win their 4th in a row!
June 1 ... Can We Play Boston More Often?
The White Sox continue their thorough domination of the Wrong Sox at Fenway Park.
May 30... That's More Like It
Behind Peavy, Sox rebound nicely from disastrous series in Toronto by clubbing Boston
May 29... Travesty in Toronto
John Danks was dreadful, Lucas Harrell wasn't much better and the offense was its usual pitiful self.
May 28... Sox Fall Through Thin Ice
A 14-inning marathon in Canada ends badly as the Toronto Blue Jays beat the White Sox 9-8 on a walkoff homer by Corey Patterson.
May 27... Blue Jay Dismay
The "vaunted" Greg Walker offense scores 2 runs or less, for what feels like the 8 millionth time, as the Sox lose 4-2.
May 26...Humber Strike
Phil Humber continues his better-than-expected season. Though he got a no decision, the comedy of errors that went on in the 9th gave our Palehose the final boost they needed to win Game 1 of this 4-game series in Toronto.
May 25 ... Gavin Deserved Better
Walkerballing offense and crap defense waste a fine pitching performance by Gavin Floyd.
May 24... Weather Can't Stop Them
Sox battle weather, Rangers and get the win
May 23... Unlucky #7 for Danks
John Danks falls to 0-7 on year after Sox blanked 4-0 in opener with AL Champs.
May 22... The Cuban Missile Crisis
The Cuban Missile became a crisis for the opposition by driving in 5 runs to lead the Sox over the Dodgers on Sunday.
