The 8 Runs of Soxmas

May 19 vs. Cleveland Indians

Levels Finished:
Mario quickly climbed up all of the ladders and beat the gorilla's brains in himself!

Short Take:Gavin Floyd keeps it cool, while our Sox bludgeon Fausto Carmona for eight runs. I bet Carmona will have nightmares of Sox hitters tonight!

Sign the Sox up for a 162-game schedule with the Cleveland Indians! If only we could make a deal with Bud Selig, we would set a record for the best record ever in MLB history. We seem to be their kryptonite lately. Whenever our Palehose have gone up against the Tribe, they've had it together. Tonight was no different, as our beloved Palehose completed a brief 2-game sweep against the Central Division leaders to improve to 4-1 against them this season. Gavin Floyd and the boys won this one 8-2.

Our Sox hardly flinched after giving up a run in the opening frame. Instead they went on to bludgeon the Tribe with six quick runs in two innings. Both Juan Pierre and The Cuban Missile quickly got on and were doubled in by Paulie Walnuts to start things off on the right foot. The next frame, a big crooked number went on the board, as The Cuban Missile and Adam Dunn both got 2-RBI hits with 2 outs (TCM knocked in both Dallas McPherson and Omar Vizquel, while Dunn knocked in Juan Pierre and TCM). Before Fausto Carmona's night was over, THE Carlos Quentin took him deep in the fifth with Paulie aboard. The line for Carmona: 8 runs surrendered, 7 hits allowed, 6-run loss, 5 INNINGS PITCHED! 4 losses this season, 3 strikeouts, 2 free passes, AND A HOME RUN IN THE BALLPARK! Every day is Soxmas when we get a win, so Merry Soxmas to all of you!

Gavin kept his cool in throwing seven innings of one-run ball and was backed up with a nice eighth inning by Chris Sale. So Cleveland eked out a single run in the final frame...Big whoop! Our Sox are now eight games out of first, five games under the break-even mark. Here's hoping that more of the same will happen on the South Side tomorrow night, as the LA Dodgers come to town. Same time, same place, different channel (CSN).

Ozzio's Game Rant:
I no complain when we heet for six run in first two inning!
