Good Guys Give New Meaning to the Term "Twin Killing"

June 8th vs. Minnesota Twins

"These ain't your daddy's White Sox... We're going to keep going after a championship as aggressively as we can."

KW's Hole Cards:
One through nine--and then some!

Short Take: Despite the fact that the Twinkies--as their trolls will tell you--have the best rookie to ever appear on the planet--ever, I tells ya!--we still won. Nyah, Nyah!

After the first two decisive victories over these lameass losers, Sox fans had to worry about a letdown. Didnít happen. Final Score: Sox 12, Twins 2. And they should consider themselves lucky we allowed them to score at all.

So anyway, the game started after a 1.5 hour rain delay. The leadoff rookie--who apparently, as said above, is the 21st century's version of Maury Wills and therefore much to be feared--got a hit and scored on a double from someone named Harris. Meanwhile, Mauer grounded out, perennial loudmouth Justin Morneau also grounded out, and that big stud Cuddyer struck out. Drat!--if youíre a Twins fan. But Minnesota scored a run! After one, Twinks 1, Sox zip. Twinks went down 1-2-3, and the Sox exploded for three in the second. Paulie and Big Jim got aboard, and Swish knocked them in with a big home run. After two, three to one Sox!

Twins failed to score in the third, but the Sox plated five more. Score 8-1 Sox. Stayed that way through five, but JD, Swish, Crede, and Alexei lit up the Twins pitcher. 12-1 Sox. The Twins scored another in the seventh, but it was too little, too late. Blast from the past Esteban Loiaza closed it out. The Fearsome Twins didn't even put up a fight. 1-2-3, and weíve won the first three. Letís make it four!

Quest For the Final Table Update:
Still on top of the deck--and it looks like we JUST MIGHT stay there!
