Here's Another Loss, Rhonda Moss!

June 3rd vs. Kansas City Royals

"These ain't your daddy's White Sox... We're going to keep going after a championship as aggressively as we can."

KW's Hole Cards:
Doyle Brunson
AJ and Quentin start the demolition early.

Short Take:AJ Pierzynski taught KC radio broadcaster Rhonda Moss a big lesson tonight as he inflicted a great deal of pain on her Royals.

This morning, Kansas City radio broadcaster Rhonda Moss had an interview with Royal starter Zach Greinke, and, in the process, asked him to plunk AJ Pierzynski a time or two during tonight's affair, the first one of the season between the Sox and their divisional cellar dwellers. AJ obviously heard about her comment and took out his frustrations on her Royals tonight. Everyone knows that, if one even thinks of talking smack about AJ, ROYALLY will you have to pay! Our Sox broke out their bats, definitelly putting in their "9 to 5" tonight, winning by that score.

Our Sox' offensive onslaught began early, and continued through the balance of this one. With AJ on first in the first, THE Carlos Quentin homered in his second consecutive at-bat at Sox Park, drilling a Greinke fastball to the Bullpen Sports Bar. The very next frame, Joe Crede and Alexi Ramirez started things off as ducks on the pond, both coming home on a Baltimore Chop by Orlando Cabrera. AJ rammed Rhonda's words down her throat again muscling a homer to deep right, scoring O-C. Our Sox already had established a 6-0 cushion after a couple innings of work. Who are you gonna ask Luke Hochevar to bean tomorrow night, Rhonda?

The Royals got a couple runs back in the third, but ended up giving them right back in the game's middle frame on solo shots by Nick Swisher and Ramirez. Here's hoping that Swisher can use that to get his bat going again. Leading 8-2, our Sox gave up 3 more runs combined in the 7th and 8th frames; but, Jermaine "Never Say Dye" crossed home with the final run of the game.

As if the score wasn't enough to make Sox fans happy, knowing that Baltimore topped the Minnesota Twinkies gives us a little more satisfaction. Let's all hope that satisfaction continues tomorrow night, and that John Danks is able to walk off that rubber victorious. Thank Heaven tomorrow's game time is at 7:11. I expect to see a bunch of you at the ballpark tomorrow night! If that's impossible, tune in to CSN.

Quest For the Final Table Update:
The Sox' offense hit early and often tonight...even Nick Swisher! Give this team a hand!
