Totally Biased
Series Update

Short Take:  12-run attack, Sox roll.

Okay, Kansas City sucks.  Still, Sox Fans are notorious for not taking losses very well.  No worries tonight!  Gary Glover is more than good enough to keep the Sox close as the bats come alive for our Pale Hose.  Sox win 12-4.

The bats were clicking from the very start.  Sox hitters spotted Glover a 3-run lead before he threw his first pitch.  Glover was in trouble in the third allowing two runs, and blew the lead in the fifth allowing two more runs.

No problem!  Aaron Rowand led off the seventh taking the first pitch deep.  Then the Sox cranked up the conga line on Sox reject Roberto Hernandez.  They would score three more times, the key hit coming on Carlos Lee's two-rbi triple.

Willie Harris returned to the top of the lineup with success, a three hit night.  Jose Valentin tossed in two himself.  Frank Thomas scored three times.  Relievers Mike Porzio and Antonio Osuna combined for five scoreless innings.  Quite a team effort, really.  Nobody was wearing tennis shoes in the dugout, perhaps?

They weren't done.

Carlos Lee was walked in the ninth inning loading the bases for Jeff Liefer, hitless on the night.  His grand slam took the express route out of the ballpark.  The Sox scored five runs and blew it wide open.

Ah, life is good playing in the A.L. Central!

WSI's
Tinkerer Update:
Back to the bench for Joe Borchard!  Harris leads off, Jimenez sits.  Makes perfect sense!

Carlos Lee

An rbi sacrifice and a 2-run triple in the key seventh inning to put the Sox in command.  No errors, too.
