Enquiring Sox Fans want to know!

If only Sox Fans knew...
Last Series vs. Indians (7/15-7/16)
  • The Sox and Indians split a two-game set.
  • Cleveland outscored the Sox 11-6.
  • Damaso Marte has seven saves since this series.
Totally Biased Sox Notes!
  • Mark Buehrle is a workhorse, working 205 innings this year, only a third of an inning less than Roy Halladay.
  • The four starting pitchers have 51% of the teams win's and only 40% of the team's losses.
  • Joe Crede already has the same number of homers as Royce Clayton, (7), in 82 fewer games.
  • Frank Thomas has a triple this year! (Amazing!)
  • The Sox have 22 more homers than their opponents this year. (182-160)
Know thy Enemy!
  • Indians pitching, in a word, sucks. Since Bartolo Colon left, the staff is in shambles. As you can see, only C.C. Sabathia of the starting pitchers has been starrting for the majority of the season.
  • The Indians have only converted 28 out 42 save opportunities, so it's never over!
  • The Indians have 44 stolen bases, while the opponents have 109. Staggering, ain't it, folks?
  • The Indians have 153 homers this year, while opponents only have 121. That is the only major statistical offensive category the the Indians lead their opponents in.
What to watch for!
  • tinkertinkertinkertinkertinkertinkertinkertinkertinkertinkertinkertinkertinkertinkertinkertinker
  • A Sox sweep? A Soxheads jinx?
  • Buehrle becoming one step closer to twenty wins.
  • Borchard and Crede belting the longball.
