Sox go with Lee in three

Carlos Lee isn't too picky, he just knows he prefers to be in the middle of things.

Lee is hitting third in the order, and despite recent struggles he said he isn't feeling any added pressure there. Lee has spent a majority of the season (45 games) in the No. 7 hole, although he has batted fifth (seven games) and sixth (25 games). He batted eighth once.

"I would say, any spot you want to put me in, I would be happy to do it,'' Lee said. "I just want to be in the right spot. I don't want to hit first and I don't want to hit last. I would say between three and seven, around there.''

Saturday in Baltimore was the sixth game in the last week Lee has hit No. 3. Before Saturday's game, he was 0-for-13 since ending a five-game hitting streak Monday in Cleveland.
