Here are some of the greatest Sox moments of the past forty years, captured by the radio play-by-play teams as they happened!

Who loves ya, Sox Fans?  It's gotta be White Sox Interactive!!!

October 1, 1959  Game #1 World Series.  Ted Kluszewski homers off Chuck Chrun (in his only big league appearance!) to help the Sox beat the Dodgers 11-0.  Announcers:  Byrum Saam and Mel Allen, courtesy Mutual Radio Network.

September 2, 1967 Sox at Boston.  In the heat of a four team pennant race, Tommy McCraw get a two-run single in the first inning leading the Sox to a 4-1 win.  Announcers:  Bob Elson and Red Rush, courtesy WMAQ.

July 15, 1977 Boston at Sox.  Lamar Johnson gets a bases loaded pinch triple driving in three runs in a 9-7 Sox win!  Both teams were leading their division at the time.  Announcers:  Lorn Brown, Harry Caray, Jimmy Piersall, courtesy WMAQ.

April 18, 1981 Boston at Sox.  Carlton Fisk beats his old team with a two-run homer into a stiff wind.  Sox win 2-1.  Announcers:  Harry Caray, Rich King, Joe McConnell and Jimmy Piersall, courtesy WBBM..

June 21, 1982 Minnesota at Sox.  Harold Baines just misses hitting a homerun into the center field bleacher seats as Sox win 5-4.  Announcers Joe McConnell and Early Wynn, courtesy WMAQ.

 October 5, 1983 Sox at Baltimore, Game #1 ALCS.  Last out of Lamarr Hoyt's brilliant 2-1 win.  Announcers: Joe McConnell, Early Wynn, courtesy WMAQ.

August 4, 1985 Sox at Yankees.  Last out of Tom Seaver's 300th career win.  Seaver pitches complete game for 4-1 victory.  Announcers:  John Gordon, and Frank Messer, courtesy WABC.

July 1, 1990 Yankees at Sox.  Andy Hawkins would pitch a no hitter but LOSE to the Sox 4-0.  Robin Ventura's flyball is dropped by Jim Leyritz allowing three unearned runs to score.  Game was played on the 80th anniversary of the opening of Old Comiskey Park.  Announcers:  Ed Farmer, Ron Gleason, Wayne Hagin, courtesy WMAQ.

August 17, 1990 Sox at Texas.  Carlton Fisk hits homerun #328 to set the record for most homeruns by a catcher.  Shot also makes Fisk the Sox' all-teim homerun champion.  This was the second game of a doubleheader which the Sox won 4-2.  Announcers:  Wayne Hagin, John Rooney, courtesy WMAQ.

September 30, 1990 Seattle at Sox.  The final out ever recorded at Old Comiskey Park.  Harold Reynolds grounds out to Scott Fletcher to Steve Lyons to wrap up a 2-1 Sox win.  Announcers:  Wayn Hagin, John Rooney, courtesy WMAQ.
