Pre-Game Report

Did the 24,016 fans attending half-price night at Comiskey get their money's worth?  Perhaps so.  The Twins held up their end of the bargain, while the Sox simply mailed it in.  Half-price is pretty much exactly right for half-ass effort, the Sox going down like punks 7-3.

Who says this team isn't brilliantly marketed?

Can we all agree--finally--Gary Glover does not belong in the rotation of a major league baseball team this side of Tampa Bay?  It's a miracle nobody got hurt with the way the baseballs were flying into the seats.  Glover allowed THREE homeruns in the first inning to the first four hitters he faced!

We knew Corey Koskie sucked, but there are more effective ways to illustrate your point than letting everyone but him take you downtown.  My God, this team sucks.

The listless Sox are truly a mirror image of their manager.  After being humiliated the first inning, Glover served up yet another fat pitch in the second inning.  This time it was a two-run dinger. It was 5-0 Twins.

No concentration.  No heart.  Nobody gives a damned.  Does this sound like a team building towards anything but oblivion?

Finally in the third inning, Carlos Lee answers for the ass whuppin' his manager and teammates willingly take.  He homers with Aaron Rowand on base.  Magglio Ordonez follows suit, and the score is 5-3.  Typical Sox, this is the last scoring they would do.

Just a whole lot of nothing the next six innings.  The most impressive stat was the Sox leaving ten men on base, four of them with two out.

They've quit, Sox Fans.  They are an embarrassment.

Tinkerer Update:
Another day.  Another lineup.  Another loss.  Any questions?
