Enquiring Sox Fans want to know!

If only Sox Fans knew...
Last Series vs. Blue Jays
  • This is the first time that the Blue Jays and Sox have met this season, and quite possibly the last.
  • The Sox are 9-10 vs. the East.
  • The Blue Jays are 8-12 vs. the Central.
Totally Biased Sox Notes!
  • The Sox team batting average is now hovering around .265, not that it really matters anymore. How it's that high, nobody knows.
  • Even though Joe Crede has only been in 22 games this year, he already has 21 K's. In comparison, Mark Johnson has 42 K's in 71 games.
  • Mark Buehrle leads the team with 108 K's, but Danny Wright is right behind with 107.
  • Mark Buehrle is the only Sox starter who has given up fewer hits (178) than innings (187) he as pitched in.
Know thy Enemy!
  • Another team that specializes in suckage.
  • The Blue Jays team average is .257, which is still higher than that of Royce Clayton, Jose Valentin, Frank Thomas, Aaron Rowand, Joe Crede, Jeff Liefer, Willie Harris, and Mark Johnson, just to name a few. Dear God, typing that was depressing.
  • The Blue Jays are more inclined to the K than their opponents, having 911 compared to 785 for the opposition.
  • Team ERA is at 4.98. 'Nuff said.
  • Roy Halladay is the reason that the Blue Jays are doing better than the D-Rays this year. He gets 6.1 runs of support a game, and has a sub-3.00 ERA.
  • This stretch with Tampa and Toronto would've been nice if we were any good.
What to watch for!
  • tinkertinkertinkertinkertinkertinkertinkertinkertinkertinkertinkertinkertinkertinkertinkertinker
  • Sox players not to care about the game (gasp!)
  • Sox fans eagerly waiting for a strike
  • Magglio Ordonez to get his 4th straigh 30+ homer season.
  • This series to be a crapfest.
