  • The Sox had four times as many runs as the Twins. (32-8)
  • The Sox have won 5 of their last 7.
  • Jon Rauch and Danny Wright each pulled their records over .500. for the season.
Totally Biased Sox Notes!
  • Take a look at the highest ERA over the last 7 days. That is absolutely spectacular.
  • Mark Buehrle's 19 wins are the most by a Sox lefty since Britt Burns won 18 in 1985.
  • D'Angelo Jimenez is batting .303 with 11 RBI and scoring 21 runs in 22 games since being called up. Jimenez has drawn 14 walks while striking out 10 times.
  • The Sox lead the American League with a franchise-record 128 home runs at home, including 82 in their last 43 games. The Sox need four home runs overall to break the club record of 216 set in 2000.
  • Damaso Marte and Keith Foulke have been in a year-long battle for closer, as each now have 10 saves, and an ERA under 3.
Know thy Enemy!
  • Twins pitchers upped their record to 64-26 when they pitch at least six innings.
  • The Twins are 46-24 against the American League Central.
  • Twins batters aren't producing, but some stellar pitching, including four relievers with ERA's under 3, are the reason the Twins are heading into the postseason.
  • The Twins are 50-26 in the HumpDome this year.
What to watch for!
  • The end of the season! Woo-Hoo!
  • 20 wins for Mark Buehrle!
