August 26 ... Sweeping in the Rain
Tyler Flowers hits a two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh to lift the Sox to a rain-shortened win and a sweep of Seattle.
August 25... Sox Wise Up and Smell the Flowers
The White Sox picked up their fifth win in a row, beating Seattle 5-4 on timely hitting by Dewayne Wise and Tyler Flowers, who was brought in after A.J. Pierzynski was ejected for telling the truth.
August 24... Yes! Nooo! Yessss!!!
The Sox finally get Jake Peavy run support, but the bullpen trolls Peavy hard by allowing 6 runs in the 9th inning to deny him of his 10th win, but the Sox showed their resiliency by overcoming the bad pitching and winning it on a walk-off single by Konerko that caused two Mariner outfielders to collide.

Though Jose Quintana did forget to throw a shutout, he cannot be blamed for the lack of run production by his team.
August 18... Losing Ugly

Sox beat themselves tonight in Kansas City, losing 9-4 after committing four
errors.
August 17... Another Garbage Effort Against a Garbage Team
Once again, the Sox clock out early against the second-worst team in the AL, and fail to defeat them for the 6th time in 10 tries. That will definitely win you the division, Sox.
August 15 ... Cursed in Canada? Not a Chance
Dewayne Wise, Adam Dunn and Dayan Viciedo go deep as the Sox picked up their second consecutive win north of the border.
August 11... Mr. Liriano? I Want You to Meet the Strike Zone
After a wild third inning where he gave up five runs on his own wildness, Francisco Liniaro led the White Sox to a 9-7 loss to the Oakland Athletics.
August 10... Danks For the Walk-Off, Jordan!
Brandon McCarthy returns to the South Side and turns in a quality start, but Jordan Danks picks a hell of a time to pick up his first career home run, as he goes yard in the bottom of the 9th to give the Sox the 4-3 win.

A.J. Pierzynski tied a franchise record by homering in his fifth straight game, lifting the Sox to a 4-2 win over the Angels.
August 4... Gavin Gives It Away
Gavin Floyd could not throw strikes and Matt Thornton could not hold an opponent as the Sox lose in extra innings to the Angels, 6-5, on a wet night on the South Side.
August 3... Rios Comes Up Grande on Elvis Night
Phil Humber was shaky again, but the offense, anchored by Alejandro De Aza, A.J. Pierzynski and especially Alex Rios, came through when they needed to.
